Staying safe and well at all times
Although the future is starting to look brighter with the rate of Covid-19 infections beginning to decline, Belgrave Care will continue to take extra measures to ensure that all of our customers, carers and office staff are always fully protected.
All of our carers follow strict infection and hygiene rules that they have been trained to follow and they are all properly equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (face masks, aprons, gloves, hand gel, sleeve and foot protectors and visors).
We have followed Government guidelines on a daily basis and will continue to do so. Every day we are in touch with the Care Quality Commission and in regular contact with the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA), working in partnership with them to ensure that we all adhere to the advice given and to ensure that we have adequate supplies of PPE.
All of our care staff are tested weekly for Covid-19 and are in the process of being vaccinated along with our customers, some of them already having had both vaccinations. We have used online technology to communicate with staff, customers and their relatives as well as the local authority and other partners.
Our carers have also helped our customers to connect remotely with their loved ones through social media and technology.
Belgrave Care will always adapt to changing circumstances to ensure that our customers, carers and workforce stay safe and well at all times, not just during COVID-19.
